The Philosophy Behind My Work.

My philosophy begins with uncertainty. I do not claim to know what this place is, but I experience life as a temporary field where consciousness is shaped by suffering, beauty, love, limitation, and death. I believe suffering should never be romanticized, but it should be listened to. Natural suffering may teach us; man-made suffering reveals where consciousness has failed. My task is to witness clearly, feel deeply without being destroyed by it, translate what I see into words and images, and offer something that helps others feel less alone inside the mystery of being alive.
